Giant Eagle Bargain recipe of the week- Roasted Pork Loin

Bargain Meal of the Week

Giant Eagle has a great deal on Pork Loins this week. My family loves pork so I can't wait to try this recipe! Happy Eating!

I will not expense spices/oils since most of us have them on hand.

Roasted Pork Loin

3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
2 pounds boneless pork loin roast (On sale $1.99 a lb) $4
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup white wine (On sale Holland House cooking wine 2 for $5) .63

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Crush garlic with rosemary, salt and pepper, making a paste. Pierce meat with a sharp knife in several places and press the garlic paste into the openings. Rub the meat with the remaining garlic mixture and olive oil.

Place pork loin into oven for 2 hours, turning and basting with pan liquids. After 2 hours remove roast to a platter. Heat the wine in the pan and stir to loosen browned bits of food on the bottom. Serve with pan juices.

Total cost of Meal: $4.63

Add Broccoli (Fresh on sale .99) Total cost of Meal: $5.63

Add broccoli and butter noodles (Dreamfields pasta sale 5 for $10) Total cost of Meal: $6.63
